Software Engineer (Applications)
Position Duties: Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug the state-of-art EDA software in the area of interconnect extraction for VLSI; Develop applications project specifications and understanding customers' requirements; Develop state of the art solutions through technical contributions that lead to product differentiation; Research and develop algorithms for parameter extraction; Perform analytical computation, numerical computation such as FDM, FEM, BEM and MEI; Develop and support graphic user interface for the parasitic parameter extraction and maintain and support hierarchical RC extraction tool as needed; Analyze system requirements to determine feasibility of design, identify systems usage errors and perform system testing during product development life cycle; Set up diagnostic routines, conduct software enhancement, perform software validation and verification and develop applicable utility programs to increase operating efficiency; Need to utilize skills on: computation/numerical analysis, extraction methodologies for VLSI, C/C++ on UNIX/Linux OS.
Job Requirement: MSCS + 2 yrs. pre or post-grad exp. in job duties
